Confirm the card market and the intended Microsoft account. If the account is wrong, sign out before entering the code.
Open Microsoft redemption
Type microsoft.com/redeem yourself or use the official link. Sign in on Microsoft’s domain.
Enter the 25-character code
Paste or type the code carefully. Do not post it here or include it in a screenshot.
Review, then confirm
Read the displayed product and destination account. After redemption, check the account balance or relevant entitlement.
If redemption fails
An error is not automatically an expired or fraudulent code. Preserve the exact wording before deciding what to do.
